Program Overview

This program will give you the tools, in-depth understanding and common language needed to deal with the critical issue in the workplace today - building trust and healing from the disappointments of betrayal in workplace relationships.

The framework of this program is the Reina Trust & Betrayal ModelTM. This model is based on four years of extensive research, conducted by Dr. Dennis Reina and Dr. Michelle Reina, in 67 organizations throughout North America. Furthermore, it is the framework of their book, Trust and Betrayal in the Workplace.

Through the lens of the model, you receive a practical tool to explore ways to support building trust in workplace relationships and healing from the pain of betrayal. You will learn how to administer valid and reliable research-based surveys to assess trust at the organizational, team and individual leadership levels.

This workshop will help you build healthy workplace relationships and energize your organizations.

Program Objectives
You will:

  • Gain a common language and the tools to assist people in discussing and responding to trust-related issues in a way that honors relationships, builds trust and energizes work environments.
  • Build your knowledge of The Reina Trust & Betrayal ModelTM and its use in dealing with trust-related issues.
  • Investigate critical issues in organizations related to trust and how to approach them.
  • Identify the specific types of trust and learn the behaviors that develop each of them.
  • Learn methods to help individuals understand their readiness and willingness to trust in themselves and others.
  • Increase your understanding of the type and form of day-to-day experiences of betrayal people face and the dynamics surrounding them.
  • Learn the steps to guide people through healing from betrayal to deepen their relationships with themselves" and "others" and to more fully understand how their experiences of betrayal may serve them positively.
  • Become a Certified Network Professional qualified to administer three powerful, valid and reliable research-based assessment surveys to measure and monitor trust:
    • The Reina Organizational Trust ScaleTM - assesses the level of trust within an organization.
    • The Reina Team Trust ScaleTM - assesses the level of trust within a team.
    • The Reina Leadership Trust ScaleTM- - allows a leader to assess the level of trust in the relationship closest to him/her. This survey may be used as a 360 degree feedback development tool.
  • Explore ways to utilize this work to uniquely market and differentiate yourself and enhance your services to others.

Trust Building Materials and Resources

You will establish a contractual relationship with Chagnon & Reina Associates, Inc. that provides you with the opportunity to utilize The Reina Trust & Betrayal ModelTM, the Reina Trust Assessment Surveys, and trust building methods.

At the end of this program you will have:

  • Complete certification workbook and guide.
  • Flipchart presentation of The Reina Trust & Betrayal ModelTM.
  • Desk-top Quick Reference Guide of The Reina Trust & Betrayal ModelTM
  • Experience using the Reina Trust Assessment Surveys.
  • Deeper understanding of your relationship with "self" and "others."

Qualifications for Attendance

The program is aimed for professionals in the fields of Organizational Development, Human Resources, Training & Development, Coaching, Education, Psychology, Sociology or related fields. Inclusion in this program requires you to have experience working with individuals, small groups, or organizations in facilitation, coaching, training or managing.

Attendance will be limited to 15 participants or less.

Certification Requirements
To become certified, you are required to:

  • Successfully complete the Trust Building Certification ProgramTM.
  • Complete a plan to implement The Trust & Betrayal ModelTM, the Reina Trust Assessment Surveys and methods following the program.
  • Demonstrate competency in the application of the Model, surveys and supporting material.

Preparation

Preparation for the program includes your completing the Leadership Trust Scale and having others (i.e. employees, peers, colleagues) provide you with feedback too. Processing takes approximately 4 weeks . Sign up early to allow plenty of time for processing.
